Lynda is Professor Emeritus of Education at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, USA. In 2008 she received the University’s Trustees’ Achievement Award for her work in cooperative learning, program assessment, and collaborative university governance.

For 13 years Lynda taught children in school settings and, during that time, began to conduct research in the nurturing of creativity and cooperation. She continues to explore the interface between creativity and cooperation. Lynda is the author of The Cooperative Classroom: Empowering Learning, a text published in both English and Simplified Chinese.

She enjoys working with teachers committed to developing cooperative communities of learners and with university faculties who wish to design curricular, assessment, and governance approaches that emphasize collaboration. In addition to work in the US, she has been fortunate to share time with educators in Canada, UK, Italy, Denmark, Netherlands, Singapore, Cyprus, and Japan.
