Kumiko Fushino, Ed.D., is a lecturer at Tokyo Keizai University, Japan. She teaches English and enjoys using CL in her lessons. She is a board member of the Japan Association for the Study of Cooperation in Education (JASCE). She is also a JASCE Advanced-Level instructor and holds JASCE CL workshops. She also conducts workshops for English teachers in Japan. Her research interests include CL in foreign language instruction, peer interaction in CL groups, and language learner development.
